Fascia & Soffit Replacement in Dublin
Rotten timber fascia and soffit replaced with maintenance-free uPVC, with ventilation built in.
The fascia carries the gutter and closes the ends of the rafters; the soffit closes the underside of the eaves. Once timber here starts to rot, gutters sag, birds get into the roof space and the damage spreads along the run.
Replacing the roofline in uPVC removes the painting cycle and is the right moment to build in the eaves ventilation many older roofs never had.
What the work involves
Full replacement, not cladding over
Rotten timber removed rather than capped over, so the problem is gone instead of hidden.
Ventilated soffit
Vented soffit or over-fascia vents included to get air into the roof space.
Gutters renewed together
New gutters fitted to the new fascia at the correct fall while access is in place.
Colour-matched finishes
White, black, grey and woodgrain options to suit the house.
