Roof Ventilation in Dublin
Eaves, ridge and tile vents to clear condensation, damp timbers and attic mould.
Black mould on attic timbers and water dripping off nails is usually condensation, not a leak. Warm moist air from the house reaches a cold roof space and cannot escape - often because insulation was upgraded without adding ventilation.
We restore airflow with eaves ventilation, ridge or tile vents, so the roof space dries out instead of quietly rotting.
What the work involves
Diagnose before fitting
We confirm whether the problem is condensation, ingress or blocked existing vents.
Eaves ventilation
Over-fascia or soffit vents to let air in at the low point, including where insulation has blocked the eaves.
High-level extract
Ridge vents or tile vents so moist air has a way out at the top of the roof.
Vented bathroom and kitchen ducts
Extract ducts terminated through the roof rather than discharging into the attic.
