Roofing service
New Roof Installations in Dublin
Complete new roofs for extensions, conversions and new builds, built to modern ventilation and felt standards.
A new roof is a build-up, not just a covering: breathable membrane, correctly spaced battens, ventilation at eaves and ridge, dry-fixed ridges and verges, and flashings detailed properly where the roof meets walls and chimneys.
We install new roofs on extensions, attic conversions, garden rooms and full new builds, and we work to the tile or slate manufacturer's fixing specification for the exposure of the site.
What the work involves
Specified for the site
Fixing patterns and pitch suited to exposure - coastal north Dublin and the Wicklow hills demand more than a sheltered inner suburb.
Breathable membrane and ventilation
Correct membrane and airflow keep the timber structure dry and reduce condensation in insulated roofs.
Dry fixings as standard
Dry ridge and dry verge systems remove the mortar that cracks and lets water track in years later.
Choice of finish
Natural slate, fibre cement slate, concrete or clay tiles, in profiles that suit the house and the street.
