Felt Roofing & Torch-On Felt in Dublin
High-performance torch-on felt for sheds, garages, extensions and balconies.
Modern torch-on felt is a long way from the thin mineral felt on 1980s garages. Laid in layers with a capping sheet, it is a robust, economical covering that suits complex shapes and awkward details.
It is a good choice where a roof has lots of penetrations, kerbs or changes of level that make a single-sheet membrane harder to detail neatly.
What the work involves
Multi-layer build-up
Underlay and capping sheet fully bonded so a single scuff does not become a leak.
Suits complicated roofs
Felt dresses easily around pipes, kerbs and steps in level.
Cost-effective renewal
Often the most economical way to renew a garage or outbuilding roof properly.
Safe hot works
Torch work carried out with proper care around timber, eaves and neighbouring finishes.
