Storm Damage Roof Repairs in Dublin
Wind-lifted tiles, stripped ridges, displaced flashing and damaged gutters put right after a storm.
Named Atlantic storms regularly hit Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow with gusts strong enough to lift tiles, strip ridge caps and peel back flat roof edges. Damage is often worse than it looks from the ground because the exposed area lets the next shower straight in.
We inspect the whole roof after a storm, not just the visible gap, because wind that lifted one tile has usually loosened its neighbours.
What the work involves
Full post-storm inspection
Covering, ridges, verges, flashings and roofline checked for movement, not just the obvious damage.
Make safe and reinstate
Anything unstable secured immediately, then the roof restored to a weathertight condition.
Insurance documentation
Photographs and a written description of the damage and repairs, which insurers usually require.
Reduce the next one
Mechanical fixings and dry systems fitted where mortar or old nails have already proven vulnerable.
